Modern minimalist revival by Norm Architects for antique metal bathtubs

EN:

It seems like the simplicity of antique everyday living objects are going through a modern revival the past years. Just like the beautiful minimalist touch and finish that Norm Architects gave to the new sanitary ware for Inbani called prime. The contemporary interpretation of the antique metal bathtubs with the typical rolled edge is expressed by the soft outer shape of the bathtubs and sink in this collection. „The soft outer shape of all the items is inspired by the how the pressure of water shapes an elastic material like e.g. a filled water balloon. This natural and recognisable shape of the designs along with the soft rolled edge makes the pieces extraordinarily appealing to the human eye, as well as inviting, familiar and modern at the same time. „ – says Norm Architects

You maybe remember the other beautiful collaboration by Norm Architects for sanitary ware I shared here. In the previous project the Design of Norm Architects brought the almost weightless lightness to the bathroom. This time they bring the organic shapes and ergonomic feel to it. It’s only right to want to inspire us to feel naturally relaxed and melt the stress of demanding life in our bathrooms. To savour this feeling I leave you with the day dream material – the styling images of this minimalist modern bathroom in a raw cave-like antique home setting.

DE:
